Covid Boosters

The Ridge PCN (comprised of Bearsted, Headcorn, Langley, Lenham, and Sutton Valence surgeries) have delivered over 80,000 covid vaccinations since last December, including booster vaccinations to many of our most vulnerable patients. This has required an enormous amount of planning and administration, plus the commitment of our clinical workforce. After careful discussion a unanimous decision has been made that we need to focus on delivering Primary Care services to our patients and therefore will not be continuing with the Booster programme after Christmas.

Please contact 119, visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ or look at https://www.kentandmedwayccg.nhs.uk/your-health/coronavirus/covid19vaccine for local services offering the vaccination.

We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this project for their time and commitment.

Flu Vaccinations

We will be running our next flu clinic on 6th December at our Cobtree surgery. These are pre bookable clinics, and are for those aged over 65 and for eligible under 65's and for the clinically extremely vulnerable.

If you ring the surgery to book, please ring after 3pm as we are receiving unprecedented numbers of calls at present, and this will reduce your waiting time.

Covid Booster vaccinations

We will be inviting eligible patients by text, letter or phone call.

We will be running clinics for those patients due a booster on 7th and 22nd December. These will be at Harrietsham Village Hall, Church Road,  Harrietsham ME17 1AP

If you previously had the AZ/Oxford vaccine, receiving Pfizer this time is not an issue. However, if you had the AZ/Oxford vaccine due to concerns about severe allergic reaction then it is important to let us know. We will then organise an alternative vaccination for you.
