If you are pregnant or are a carer then you will be able to have the free vaccination. Please see the last paragraph.

We do not charge for vaccinating our patients, but every vaccination done at the practice provides income for the surgery.

Children aged 2 and 3 years old will be immunised using a nasal spray.

Children in years Reception, 1, 2, and 3 will be immunised by the school nurse.  If you miss the date at school you must contact the school to arrange the vaccination.

Vaccinating this age group has proven to be very successful and has reduced GP consultations and A & E admissions.

This year, following the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has decided to increase the number of vaccines and to make it available to a wider range of people. However, if you are aged 50-64 and are not in a clinical at risk group the earliest you will be offered a vaccine is November, if there is sufficient vaccine.  This is to ensure that those at most risk are vaccinated first.
